She has a degree in Catalan, Romance, and Spanish Philology from the University of Girona.  She is a professor at the Institut Francocatalà Transfronterer (IFCT) of the University of Perpignan - Via Domitia and adjunct professor at the University of Girona. She is a member of the research group Languages, Grammar, and Discourse (LGD - UdG), the Working Group on Endangered Languages (GELA - UB), and the Association for Diversity in Linguistics (GLiDi). Her research is focused on the contact between languages from a sociolinguistic, lexical, and grammatical perspective.
